How do third base coaches who do this for a living make such horrible decisions to where guys are thrown out at the plate by 5-10 feet? Man it's annoying.

The beat goes on. I don't even know why I tune into the game when they play the Cardinals
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Offense fights back to tie it up and Chase walks the leadoff guy to start the next inning. I sure do love our pitching staff.

And to no surprise the walk comes around to score. Give up free bases and that's what you get.

Broxton up to .216. He's getting there.

His last 14 day stat line is a .344 AVG with a .948 OPS.

And that was before the 3/3 with a double and HR. Now it is over a 1.000 OPS.

I wonder if we will ever win a series from the Cards again?
With Wainwright sucking and position players dropping like flies it may be the tonight.

It is so refreshing to see our manager take a pitcher out in this situation. Anderson has thrown a lot of pitches for 5 innings and a lot of them were high stress. Our previous managers would have left Anderson in to try to give him the chance to get a win.

I guess Santana was content not to take his bat off the shoulder in that at-bat. Did he swing even once in those 7 pitches?
