I'm surprised they didn't wait another day on Braun with an off day tomorrow.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think I would have. I also wish they'd proceeded with the planned Saturday "bat Villar 6th" experiment.

Would love to see Broxton at the top of that lineup, or even Perez though I know he's not necessairily an on base machine when he's not hitting

I would love to just see Villar get on base like he did a year ago. That will solve everyone's worrries.

Schwarber is such a bad fielder.

I know they've been halfway decent to date, but our starting pitching is what keeps me from getting excited about the long term prospects of this team

Anderson looks rough so far, gonna need some production off Arrieta today.

If the game is even still within reach after the 1st.

I feel the same way.

Kind of feel fortunate that we're only 3 down. Arrieta has been plenty hittable this year and the wind is blowing out...

Thames needs to start finding that power stroke again. Especially on a day like this with the win blowing out. We need him to slug, he's had RISP both times up today.

Good to hear Rock and BA calling out the Winky, Winky, scratch your head, too rainy to play in the sun when we have a tired pen Cubs for the bush league organization that they've been so far this year.
