Meh, I'm happy with Albers, but they are similar deals.

 

I would not have been upset if they added Oh too but I'm not unhappy either if they are done with the pen. I want guys like Williams, Peralta, and Houser to have opportunities to break out too because they're all potential candidates to do just that.

Yeah, I agree for the most part. Not a huge difference to me either way and I want those same guys to have a chance. I wouldn't have signed both.

Oh showed major red flags last season, including a very high FB% that would not have played well in Miller Park.

 

Granted relievers are volatile in general, but I'm much happier committing money to a guy who was good last season rather than a guy trending down.

Not sure what happened, but according to the Rangers GM now they did not sign Oh and there apparently is nothing imminent with him and Texas.

Looks like he will be a Blue Jay. Pending physical.
