I wonder if Counsell would have gone to the bullpen in that same situation prior to Braun's AB?

I'm all for enforcing "indisputable", but yeah. Maybe the discussion in New York was, "I assume that Adam Duvall has fingers, but I've never actually seen them in person myself. Not indisputable."

Tons of leadoff runners on for Chase today. Given Counsell's tendencies for short leashes on his starters, kind of surprised he's still out there.
