If this is where Hader's salary will go, then perhaps it is time to look at a deal.

 

The Brewers have Clayton Andrews and QTC, a pair of high-K pitchers, in the minors plus Angel Perdomo and Brent Suter on the 40-man, and can re-sign Drew Pomeranz.

Hader will probably make around 5 million in Arby's this year. His salary will maybe go to 18 million in 3 or 4 years if he remains healthy & elite.

 

Any team in MLB can sign Drew Pomeranz just as easily (if not more easily since many contenders have more money than us) as we can.

 

QTC, Clayton Andrews & Angel Perdomo are extreme long shots to provide significant MLB value in 2020.
