So i wonder if it's off to the Taxslayer bowl.

 

A good showing (& continuing that good showing) in this game might keep WI ahead of Penn State in the rankings & keep the Rose Bowl possible..

 

This is no longer a good showing. It's a 4 quarter game. A good showing for two quarters counts for nothing.

3rd and 18 and we have a play call from Leonhard that includes the CB playing 19yds off the receiver and retreating as the play develops. I just don't get it. So tired of this movie.

Our defense just isn’t good enough. Ohio State is just too good and our DBs are simply not going to keep up with them. Our only hope was to bend and not break...they did that for half the game, but it was tough to expect them to do it enough to keep the game within reach for our offense. Our offense can’t go 80 yards all day on every drive. They just can’t.

 

We have played really well in all honesty...just isn’t enough without some big help from Ohio St

They are just flat out embarrassing themselves at this point.

The offense has no shot if ohio st is just going to be living in the backfield because we can keep them honest.

It's more fun to be on the other side of these. But OSU is really, really good. Had to play near-perfect to win and they made too many mistakes.

 

I have to say I'm looking forward to Ohio State vs. LSU, that should be a great game.

Dropping a punt snap, blowing multiple coverages, and playing so far off on 3rd and 18 that you manage to inexplicably give up a 1st down isn't running out of gas. It's self-inflicted.

You're right, of course. More frustration talking than anything. A lot of big things were expected from this defense this year, though, and it's been extremely inconsistent.

The biggest talent gap is at QB. Would love to see Mertz QB the bowl game, to see if he is for real.

Yes the Badgers played well in the first half but the Buckeyes played way below their talent level in the first half.

 

They're starting sqauds probably have 20 guys that will get time in the NFL.
