Can we get the StatCast broadcast for the rest of this game and send Jessica Mendoza and Rick Sutcliffe somewhere else? Like literally anywhere else? Except my living room because I would still be able to hear them but anywhere else is fine.

3 NL Central teams down, 1 to go. Time for the Padres to take down the Cardinals.

Unfortunately the Cardinals are winning the World Series.

Maybe next year. All four Central division teams eliminated in shutouts.

The NL Central division might have been the worst division in baseball

Well, we made it as far as the Cardinals and Cubs.

The Padres are our 2019 pitching staff with our 2008 lineup plus bat-flipping on the Cardinals. Their fans must be having some fun.

The 7 Central teams went 2-14!

Today was arguably the best baseball day i've experienced in years. Cubs leak down their legs, now, I won't have to hear the announcers kiss Molina's backside for 3+ hours straight, until next year.

I'm doing a shot....make it a double!

We are!

Seeing that big run score bc Yadi didn't know it was a force was the best. The right way!

It's even better for my son since it's his team. They're probably still celebrating downtown.

7 of the 8 matchups feature a Central team vs. a non-Central team. I’m very interested to see how these go. If the Central teams do well, then perhaps it suggests that the Brewers’ 2020 struggles were at least due in part to having faced stiffer competition than teams from the East or West. Conversely, if the Central teams get dominated, then maybe the Brewers would have fared even worse if they had to play a regular 162-game season with a more balanced schedule.

Obviously, 3-game series aren’t the best way to judge one division vs. another, but in a season with no inter-divisional games until the postseason, they might be our only glimpse at the relative strength of each division.

DOMINATED. 0-7 I believe.

I have always felt that so many interdivisional games do not ready a team for the playoffs. An equal spread of games across all divisions, or just eliminate the divisions seems most equitable in the future.
