Its not nearly as easy when a random wind gust can alter where the ball lands by 10 yards....

The wind takes away our deep game, that's really our bread and butter this season. It's early but doesn't look like the cakewalk we expected so far.

I don’t think they’ll have to worry about that.

 

I do. I think it's at least highly likely. The 1st place team in the West already has two losses and I highly doubt they are getting out of that gauntlet without at least four. You can forget about the East. It's either the champ of the North or the South, and the Packers already beat the Saints.

 

So I don't think they need to be the best, or even the top 2 best, to end up in the #1 spot.

Of course it affects the passing game, but the talent difference in this game is great. The Jaguars play their games in sunny Florida. It's a game you need to win regardless of neutralizing elements.

It's both but I have no idea how that is determined. I've wondered that for years.

Remember the MNF game against the Bears on Halloween 1994 and the wind and rain at Soldier Field? It was twice as brutal as it is today. Hentrich had like three straight 27 yard punts into the wind and Favre didn't complete a pass until the third quarter. Fun game as we crushed them 33-6.
