Greg Young is not traveling for Carolina road games this season.

When an opponent does not provide video, like Down East this week, there is no on-air Mudcats audio broadcast.

Down East does provide home audio, so if you are a friend or family member of a Mudcats player, for instance, that's how you can follow the game beyond just a Gameday/Box Score perspective.

Rough AAA debut for Ethan Small, as he departs with 2 outs in the top of the 3rd, 2 runs in, and the bases still loaded. He walked 5 and only struck out 1 while also giving up 3 hits. His command was clearly shaky, but he also wasn't missing by much from what I saw. Very tight strike zone.

Got to be dreadful for Biloxi to have to continue tonight's game that got suspended after two innings...after giving up 10 runs in the first inning.

It has not been a stellar Brewers debut for RHP Jesus Castillo, who will turn 26 in August.

The Diamondbacks signed him out of Venezuela the day after his 16th birthday way back in 2011.

He's been part of two subsequent trades:

February 18, 2013 - Chicago Cubs traded CF Tony Campana to Arizona Diamondbacks for RHP Jesus Castillo and RHP Erick Leal.

August 1, 2016 - Los Angeles Angels traded RHP Joe Smith to Chicago Cubs for RHP Jesus Castillo.

Castillo spent all of 2018 on the Angels' 40-man roster but was not recalled to the big league club. He was DFA'd and cleared waivers (outrighted) in spring training 2019.

Milwaukee signed him as a minor league free agent in November 2019, and of course, 2020 was wiped out.

"Hey honey, let's grab the kids and head to MGM Park this evening. What's this, we just sat down. 10-1, top of the 3rd?

Guess there's a seven-inning Game Two. Enjoy some cotton candy, young ones."
