Box: DSL Giants Black 8, DSL Brewers #2 Squad 7, seven innings

The Cerveceros collapsed in the bottom of the 6th, as the tying and go-ahead runs scored on a wild ball four pitch that included an error by the retrieving catcher. Leadoff walk, one of seven free passes issued in the game, didn't help.

17-year-old rookie Dominican RF and LH bat Hendry Mendez and his now 1.204 OPS makes his daily Link Report appearance by reaching in all four of his plate appearances, 3-for-3, double, walk.

18-year-old rookie Venezuelan CF and RH bat Jose Gonzalez singled twice and walked while lifting his too-early-to-mention-but-we-will-anyway batting average to .367.
