Justin Jarvis strives for a third straight decent start (1.86 ERA in 9.2 innings with 14 Ks) and Joey Wiemer remains hot (hit safely in 7 of last 8 games), as the Timber Rattlers try to snap a 2-game skid:

Joey Wiemer with a monster three run bomb in the bottom of the first.

I think Wiemer maybe the next Corey Hart.

Hart at 21 at AA

.302/.340/.467

The strikeout rate looks to be about the same as Hart. The only thing I am not sure on is if Wiemer has the same profile defensively in the OF as Hart had.

Well, Wiemer has an absolute cannon for an arm. Well above Hart's arm. Overall, his fielding rates as at least average.

He has a cannon but he also has bigger muscles. Joey is a Man Beast who is only just filling out his frame.

Meeker gets the loss in Game 1 but still has no earned Run. Stealthy. 2 1 run losses to Down East is a punch to the you know what. Good effort Lads.

Nashville and another Biloxi Win? I'll take it. Hiura not even getting PH opportunities. I simply hang my head. Renato had a nice game at the plate. I give a tip of my fallen hat.
