Bigger Catcher swing

In the wake of Severino's PED suspension and us not having a real good backup option right now needing a righty to complement Narvaez..I was thinking of a bigger swing

 

To Padres:

Tyrone Taylor

Angel Perdomo

To Brewers

Luis Campusano

 

Padres need help in the OF in the worst way especially LF which Taylor would instantly upgrade.  They also get some depth at RP in AAA with upside.

They seem to be bouncing Campusano back and forth with no real plan and who knows maybe they soured on him, he could platoon with Narvaez for a year and be our guy moving forward.

 

It would leave a pretty big hole in backup CF for the Brewers however (Monte Harrison? A man can dream)...Might have to make another move from here. Just an idea.

The Padres are more likely to trade Victor Caratini or Austin Nola, than Campusano. Probably Caratini has they are now in the luxury tax with their acquisition of Manaea; Caratini has a 2 million dollar contract for this season and is likely third on the depth chart behind Alfaro and Nola.

Oh I agree, was just going pie in the sky.   I wouldn't mind either of those 2 but not sure I would deal Taylor for one of those 2..

Nope, Taylor stays.  He is going to prove to be very valuable when Yelich and Cain go down with their inevitable injuries...
