Man, Garrett Mitchell just continues to impress. After a rope extremely well-hit ball smacks off the wall in deep right knocking in two for Norfolk, he collects it on the hop and throws a dart to second base as Brice Turang grabs the runner and gets the Sounds out of the inning. He is just playing such good good baseball right now. A true pleasure to watch.

I saw in the box score that he had an OF assist, thx for illustrating it. With all the deserved attention some of the other OFers throughout the system are getting, I'm just thrilled that Mitchell has experienced success since being promoted. With all the downtime he's had to endure he's been off the radar screen for some fans, I think. The way he & Weimer can run & defend, for their size, my goodness..........
