Sunday game experience questions

Not sure where this belongs, so move it if needed.

We have a group heading in for today’s game. Bunch of kids included. If we get in when gates open (60 minutes before?), will we be able to catch BP? Chance for getting autographs down from the Brewers dugout? Anything else to keep in mind on  a Sunday?

We’ve gone to a bunch of games in the past, but this is the first time really going in early with the kids. My boy’s 8 and baseball crazy finally. Hoping it will be cool. Thanks!

We usually wouldn't enter that early, but teams taking batting practice is a hit or miss proposition.

Some days (and day games after night games are the most likely) the teams don't take BP at all. If the Brewers take BP, I think they usually finish up before the gates open. For as long as I can remember (and that goes back to the 50's) the home team takes BP first.

It might be possible to get autographs if you try to hang out around the dugout. Kids with a sign of some kind probably have the best chance.

Today is the Giannis bobblehead giveaway so that will prompt people to go in early. The steady rainfall will also cut down on tailgating so expect more people than usual to go into the park early.

If you have kids that don't get to go to games often I would go with the idea of getting through the gates early and see what you can do. If nothing else stroll around the park to see the different displays and areas. I'm sure you know to be prepared to spring for snacks.

If you can stay that long, they usually let the kids run the bases after the game on Sundays. You could ask at guest services if they are doing that today and where you go to participate.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Thanks. We don’t typically enter this early, but the kids are pretty excited. Hopefully the Reds will be hitting, or at least we can see some players moving about. We can hit the activity area before the game, worst case.
