Uribe assigned to AA is interesting. Counsell was pretty open about Uribe starting the year in the minors, but surprised to see it all the way down in AA and not AAA.

Yeah, I agree with this. Nashville is loaded with intriguing arms and I don’t think the team has intentions of bringing up Uribe before S2, and probably want to see how the arms they have that could be shuttled early do the first month or two before bringing Uribe to Nashville.

They also could eventually bring Uribe directly from AA. It’s all about command with him and if he’s commanding, it won’t matter where he’s at before he gets the call.

yes Nashville seems loaded i agree best place to start the Kid.

Looks like Milner is the only Lefty in the pen right now  maybe a pickup before the season?

Not really any surprises. I think that Junk can help out on the MLB team this year, and thought he may make the squad as a multi-inning reliever, but he hasn't looked too good in the small sample he's had this spring.

They probably want to keep him working as a starter in Nashville, as most of their "MLB ready" starters will have to be in the MLB roster to start the season and may not be stretched out when/if an injury occurs.
