"Acting like infants"?

In my time posting here, I've found nothing that incites arguing rather than discussing more than this phrase

 

 

"I guarantee.........."

 

People that state their opinion as facts..............

 

I'm not pointing out any poster, because I don't recall names.

 

But I know of at least three that have posted "Guarantees" that Branyan won't be a Brewer in 2006.

 

What's wrong with saying "I don't believe", or "I hope Branyan isn't a Brewer"

 

or even "I don't see a reason Branyan should be a Brewer next year"

 

They're all at least debatable on an adult level.

 

When you say "I guarantee" you're stating that you're right, and everyone else is wrong.

 

I guarantee that as long as Branyan IS a Brewer, these discusssions will keep coming up.

 

And that guarantee, you can take to the bank.
