HUGE win for the young Mudcats. That's a 5-1 final. The Mudcats move to 7 games over 0.500.

On the other screen. Just like that. Charlotte reclaims their 2 run lead. It's that kind of night in Charlotte. Fernandez gives up a rope directly down the 1B foul line and there is a man on 2B and one down. Clearly, Sweet is trying to save his bullpen for the series. Fernandez is at 85 pitches and isn't particularly sharp.

Feels like Cornielle has had 1 blowup inning in every start this season where he just completely loses it. That inning feels like it is upon us today. Already walked in a run and there are still 0 outs.

I see you wrote this before he gave up a near HR to LF? Yeah, it's starting to get away...again...for the T-Rats. They are a tough tough watch in 2023. There's no getting around it. Let's hope they can turn this game around!

Not having checked the Transaction wire of yet, I just double taked seeing Noah Campbell grab the infield fly out in Charlotte for the Sounds 😅 And, he's playing 2B again...which would explain the groundball the Sounds 2B missed earlier in the game running to their right as it casually went into the RF grass. 😅 I don't know what's going on here BUT I'm sure glad he got the assignment!

Yeah I had a feeling it was going to be that inning for him after he hit the second hitter. Feel like he's pitched so much better than his ERA this year but has had a big blowup inning in a bunch of games.

Boy was Uribe absolutely robbed of a glorious 3-2 curveball on the inner stripe. Uribe was left with both hands turned up asking the ump: Where was that pitch? Schierholtz comes to the mound. Runner now on 1B. The ump comes to the mound as well. Man, that's just some classic Minor League ump blown strikes tonight.

This ump is criminal. Stole a strike 3 from him in the next AB as well. Thankfully Uribe took it into his own hands with a K-swinging.

Yep. Ugly ugly stuff.

I need this 'W' for my Brewers Minor League sanity. Let's go Uribe! Overcome the disadvantage behind the dish and bring her home.

Yes Sir! 3-2 Shuckers. They're now 4 back of the Blue Wahoos. 23 games remain. Man, that ump...I don't even know. Let's also just mention: The Shuckers went hitless after the 2nd inning 😅

INF Eric Brown Jr. Now has 21 stolen bases on the season. Given his injury absence and scuffling start that is highly impressive.

I see Henry is doing well hitting wise what type of prospect can he take over for Victor ?  Rudy is putting a nice start hopefully he follow Rodriguez up the ladder

My word another put out from the Brewers Minor League outfield at home plate. OF Joe Gray Jr. throws an absolute one hop dart and C Matt Wood puts on the tag after an unbelievable one bounce chopper made its way well over first base and down the 1B line into the outfield grass. That was potentially a game saving play. Wow. That's three OF assists of the web gem type in the past week - OF Lamar Sparks, OF Monte Harrison and now OF Joe Gray Jr.

Joe Gray Jr just said "HECK NO" to the Cardinals devil magic that Peoria was trying to pull off.

We are seeing some incredible OF assists this past week across all levels. Monte Harrison ripped a 98 mph dart from deep in LF tonight as well to keep the deficit at 3-2. Couple this Gray Jr. with Sparks last week and we're getting our monies worth.

What. A. Play. by Metzinger charging the sac bunt and nailing the ghost runner headed for third to open the 10th. One down. Runner on 1B now. I love the aggression.

That's now 9 walks from the T-Rats pitching staff tonight after RHP Brennan Jordan walks the bases full after that fantastic first out.

What a comeback. After that Je'Von Ward pop up bunt to the mound I almost lost all hope 😅. Thank the baseball gods those T-Rats grabbed one. That was a huge comeback for their club.

Think that's probably the win of the season so far. Coming back from being down 6-0 through 6 innings is an incredible feat.

Indeed. Overcoming 9 walks from the pitching staff, no less. Metzinger was phenomenal defensively in the late innings at 1B. Those were key plays. Tack that on with Gray Jr's win-saving dart. This game was won with defense and I love it.

Man, there were just some web gems all around (still ticked we don't have video of the Monte Harrison Outfield Assist on a 98mph dart from deep in LF). Check these out in Biloxi: (I SEE YOU, Tyler Black!)

Ethan Murray magic:

It was across the board all night. Web gems abound. Lovely stuff after some not so lovely outings across the board in the early part of the season.
