Really glad that Corniel is starting tonight. He had a deceptively good season last year (best xFIP of any starter who finished the year in the DSL for the Brewers) and when he didn’t show up on any initial roster I figured we’d soon have another injured-full season on our hands.

Carolina falls to 1-3 at Home against Fayetteville. They are a different team on the road. These are big losses. BUT, we see RHP Logan Henderson continues to build and build with every outing.

And that's not even mentioning Tyler Black. 

@CheeseheadInQC: I don't think it's weird at all. Frelick is awesome when he is dialed in BUT he is a fireplug or spark plug lead-off guy. He doesn't have the innate prospect-speak upside boom/bust you would invest in a top 5 guy. And I love him as a player. 
 

I made a comment last year on this very thing wayyyyyyy ahead of the curve: I didn't care that Frelick was going to be Top 50 in the overall lists. I cared C Jeferson Quero wasn't even in the Top 100 of those silly things.

To that end, with what we are seeing with Gasser lately, I'd toss him in the convo too. Good problem to have.
