Is it just me or does Teheran get literally zero run support?

Well, there literally is a zero on the board, so... 😡

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Wiemer had a hot streak but he’s going to need to change his batting style.

More moving parts than a Swiss watch.

That hand hitch is going to have to get fixed.

Rock might be on to something.  The guys might be pressing trying too hard to score.

That or they’re just not good hitters

Re-read my last post.  Venting against team, no runs, MLB = OK.  Venting agaisnt other posters = not so good.

I read it. You originally asked why comments like that would bother anyone and I offered my opinion.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

That has been proven as surely as it has been proven that the A’s are a terrible team.

I deleted most of this because it was stupid.

But I'm still PO'd that we don't have a reliable offense!  The A's tried to give us yesterday's game with little league throws, but failed to accept their generous offer. blechch.

So what do we think of Teheran to this point?  Sub 4 ERA career, though barely touched MLB the last 3 years.  Not that I think he'll keep pitching sub 2 ERA (his current FIP aligns with his career sub 4 ERA).

Is he a guy that is just benefiting from the Brewer's strong defense and pitching game plans?

I keep waiting for the shoe to drop, but he is filling in nicely with Woody out.  Might take Lauer's spot in the rotation when everyone is healthy too.

Baltimore, from whom we just took 2 of 3, is clobbering Toronto (and taking the 2d of a series). Tornto has a better record than we have. The point: That's baseball.  (But I'm still PO'd that we don't have a reliable offense!)

What? Baltimore is playing KC and Toronto is playing the Twins.

He's been impressive so far. Now if can get any semblance of run support....

OH. Never mind!  That was a dumb post.

Nonetheless, the Twins are not a great team, and they are clobbering a team with a better record than we have, So baseball is still baseball, and as unpredictable as my memory. 🙄

At least this dreary game, unlike last night’s, is moving quickly.

Well he does have a win against Toronto but in all his other appearances he literally does have no run support.

Singleton would be a better hitter if fair ground was foul and foul ground was fair...

Every ball he smokes is a foul ball.

There’s a reason Singleton was in the minors for ten years, and when he was DFA’d in March nobody took him.

Hahaha, A’s will likely be going for the sweep tomorrow. Can’t wait for July 31st to see what the new faces can do.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry here...

This offense is offensive. The A’s give up 7 runs a game.

But, robots. That last pitch was def outside. Oh well.

But it’s the old adage, with two strikes you better be swinging at anything close.

Monasterio is a scrub (not a star), who got himself behind in the count. As such, he should know better that he’s getting rung up if he takes anything borderline.
