This season is turning into a sequel of 2022 and it's a sequel I don't care to experience. Both the Brewers and Twins started the season quite strongly, jumped out into first place, and are once again back on their heels in June. These are two struggling teams that aren't playing compelling baseball, yet remain in the thick of divisional races due to the ineptitude of everyone around them.

May the least-bad team win!

Lopez has had some bad luck this year, but I expect this to be a tight affair and may need Cy Burnes to take it. Hopefully the Willy/Rowdy boys can get going a little and drive in some runs. Without it, this lineup becomes a shell of its potential

It's been a small dose of bad luck for Lopez but he's also had the tendency to make bad pitches in critical situations, which can look a lot like bad luck on a stat line.

This is a battle of two strangely inconsistent but very good (in the case of Burnes, great) pitchers. I don't know what to expect.

I am foreseeing a big Brewers blowout of the Twins tonight!

3-2?

Adames looks terrible at the plate. It looks like he is just feeling for the ball instead of swinging at it.

It looks like Counsell wants to give Singleton a trial by giving him regular ABs for a couple of weeks. If he doesn’t produce he will be a prime candidate for a DFA.

Today would be a great day to win.  If there's one thing I love almost as much as a Brewers win, it's a Minnesota loss.

I really only disliked the Twins when they played at the Metrodome. That abomination gave them a huge home field advantage because it was good for a couple of balls lost in the ceiling each series.

And I'd be okay with it being sooner than later.

He's probably going to be gone when the bring back Winker in a day or two.

Twins home plate seats look wide and comfortable, unlike Am Fam where everyone looks uncomfortably mashed together like sardines, obscuring and  enveloping Front Row Amy in their folds of flesh.

I think Schroeder is right that Anderson lost that ball in the sun for a second and that caused him to get a bad jump on it.
