Man, am I happy I found this place!

There was that "tournament" last year and the only site that beat us was the Detroit Red Wings and that's because they had a much larger member base.

We are definitely the #1 baseball forum.

In my opinion Brewerfan is the best. It covers baseball, America's pasttime. And our beloved Brewers. That Red Wings site was pretty good too. Of course, I don't care about hockey so the Red Wings site doesn't do anything for me. The Red Wing's are the most successfull franchise in hockey.

The Brewers have been perennial losers for a long time now. I give this site a lot of bonus points for following a franchise that hasn't given us much reason to follow them in a long time. It's easy to follow a team when they are winning championships. The true fans keep following the team through the bad as well as the good. Sal Bando, Jeffrey Hammonds, bad drafts, a lot of losing seasons, the All Star game fiasco, we have been through alot. Thanks to Brewerfan I can see the light at the end of this long, dark tunnel.

my only beef with the site is the tone the users have taken in recent months. It used to be solely a pro-Brewers site. Now many of the conversations are spent bashing Yost, Schroeder, Sutton, etc. Heck, I like bashing Jenkins for the piss-poor level of play he's shown these past few years, but there comes a point where I've said it enough times.

I stoled this from a Marlins Board www.marlinbaseball.com. This was their list of the top fan-run or unofficial baseball sites for each team. I was wondering if we could put something like this under the 'links'. BTW, of course they said their board was the best baseball board out there.

I would like to pin kraft's post somehow...i just checked out the marlins site.....it looks nice, but the content is not-so good......lots of simple stuff, not much baseball acumen.

That Cubs site is definitely not fan-run. Heck, it's not even a Cubs-only site, at that. At least, it isn't anymore..

I agree Ja, but I can't find a Cubs site that is. Maybe the Tribune just buys each one when it is created so they continue their Monolopy over the Cubs media sources.

We can make our own list. Either way it would be nice to have these links at the push of a button on this site.

I think northsidebaseball.com is one we've checked on occasion. I know another one was posted as well, but I forget. I just thought it was interested that they listed that site when it clearly didn't qualify.

I really like northsidebaseball.com for Cubs content. I try to link to blogs and fan sites of the teams the Brewers are playing in the Series Previews... perhaps I will consolidate all of that info and post it here at some point.

Don't you remember that this site was rated "worst site on the internet"? Not just worst among sport's sites, but worst on the entire internet!

The fact that Jim Callis from BA checks out THIS site to refresh his memory on FA rules is a testament to it's quality.

I'd have to second that notion. I find myself checking this thread more than a few times every week to find links to other teams fansites, especially this week leading up to the trade deadline.
