What minor and major leaguers are you willing to give up at the deadline? (that have some value)

Major Leaguers (yes I know they are in AAA right now but have significant MLB service time)- Urias and Lauer

Minor Leaguers- EBJ, Adams, Mendez, Small, Moore, Zamora

This is my list. Whether we can get any significant pieces from these guys is to be seen with it looking like a major sellers market. My teams to target are the Rockies and White Sox. If the Cardinals would work with us, they would be on that list too.

From a logistical standpoint after the draft, I think the depth at the lower levels is in the infield. Guilarte, Areinamo, Barrios, Baez, O’Rae, Severino, etc.

I would include Adams, but I think he has vaulted into a different tier and I am not interested in dealing him for a Cron or Grichuck type that I see as the likeliest acquisitions.

Agree re the young INF. I would include Lara (theoretically), but certainly would need something substantial back if he's included.

I don't think anyone would be willing to offer somebody that would incline me to deal Adams.

I think you gotta be willing to discuss everyone except Chourio (obviously) and probably Mis. You don't need to trade someone such as Black, Quero, etc. but you gotta at least be willing to discuss them otherwise the conversations you have with teams are going to be shortened. And if there's a good value deal to be had involving those guys, you need to consider pulling the trigger.

That said, I don't ultimately expect any of our top 6 or 7 prospects to be moved. But I want Arnold to be aggressive in upgrading this offense because our pitching and defense are arguably World Series-caliber.

I completely agree. Just a couple of the top prospects should be untouchable, but now is the time to go for it.  If it doesn't work out we sell in the off-season and recoup the prospects. The idea that we are going to come this far with this team and not be willing to trade guys in single A makes no sense to me.
