Man that Mudcats series loss hurts. I really feel for Areinamo. He is a much better player than that small three game sample size showed. Tough way for his season to end. Lots of fun guys to follow on that team, too bad they're done. Anxious to see what the plans are re Baez (not level of play; I assume he's ticketed to return to Carolina. Wondering about position).

Could we see O'Rae in Appleton?

I doubt we'll see O'Rae start 2024 in Appleton, given his age and relatively limited time at Carolina. I'd only expect Sibrian (re-sign), Chirinos, Adams, Areinamo, Guilarte, Avina and Hedbert Perez to get the immediate promotion to High-A.

Early 2024 promotions of Luis Castillo and/or Dylan O'Rae to High-A Wisconsin may be contingent on players like Mendez, Lara and/or Eduardo Garcia earning a promotion to AA ball, in my opinion.
