The Trail Blazers are officially the NBA's next dynasty.

I was hoping that, but ESPN has it wrong - Kolek was picked by the Knicks who traded for that pick from Portland and I don't know what the heck ESPN is thinking with Ighodaro as he was picked by the Suns after they traded with the Knicks for this pick, and the Knicks acquired the pick from OKC.  I have no idea why they have the Trail Blazers' logo by his pick.

Ahh, I see. That's what I was going by as I didn't watch the draft. Oh well, it's Portland's funeral.

I watched it on Thursday when they said Tyler I was happy, and then my heart was crushed when he said smith, I didn’t know there was another Tyler with early 2nd round ability. It was a fun 2 seconds though

Who'd you have preferred for the Bucks? Kolek or Ighodaro?

I thought both would be in the mix for each pick as they're both NBA-ready, but...Ighodaro seems like exactly what they need. A big who's mobile, can defend, a smart player.

I'd feel much better trading Lopez is we have just a physical 4 who can move and defend. Or at least just one who can give you minutes so you're not relying on Giannis, Portis and then...Gallinari.

Oh well...they said they were taking a big swing. Still, swinging for the fences and then just trying to hit a single would have been nice as well!

Easily Kolek. Fills a need and can help day 1. Oslo is going to have to bulk up to succeed.

Yeah, but he'd be able to defend and switch a lot easier out of the gate and that's a bigger hole.

I like Kolek...but I didn't think he was a very good on ball defender vs elite quicker ball handlers, but I could be wrong on that.
I think both are the types who are going to have a bigger impact than their box scores may suggest.

I agree the bucks chose projects rather than guys that can help them right now. Its cool that both got players got drafted to teams close to home though
