I'm torn.  I want to play it safer and get and easy 1st down, but man he was wide open...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Man that was a chance to almost put this thing away.

Pretty sure Joe Barry just read the "put this thing away" and rolled his eyes.

This defense is more than capable of giving up 17 points in 7-8 minutes, let alone 3+ quarters.

It was an easy first down, Love simply has to throw a half decent pass. It isn’t a high bar to achieve in that situation.

It wasn't the best throw in the world but it was more than catchable.

Was catchable, but would have required quite a catch on the other end. Idk…much like a pass earlier in the game, when your guy is that stupid wide open just lob it and let him go get it. That throw was what you would expect if the defender was right on him.

Playing QB is hard enough, no need to make it more complicated.

I'm definitely not going to say it was his best throw tonight. But it hit Melton right in the hands. Dove for it. But I feel like most receivers are going to feel like they should have come up with that.

Looks like a td to me.

That was quite a hole for quay to run up into and a good juke to beat the rb.

Chicago Bear's embarrassment watch:

Jordan Love is 118 yards and 1 TD away from matching the Chicago Bears' all-time QB single-season leader (Erik Kramer - remember that "legend"?)  .

Love is 1.5 games away from a big paycheck

I was just thinking the other day, with the pathetic state of NFL QBs these days…I think he is arguably already a Top 10 dude.
