I noticed the same thing. Are you sure we aren't all really sending ghostly posts...from the FUTURE?

I'm sure it has to do with ezboard's upgrades and maintenance.

 

There may be forum members who didn't know that was going on. The only reason I knew was that I logged into the Control Center a day or two ago, something I rarely do.

 

I'm sure it'll get ironed out.

Other ezboards that I've been on since the outage are fine and have the right dates/times. I'm assuming its like daylight savings time where it has to be manually fixed by one of the moderators- probably needs to be reset to CDT instead of Grenwich mean time, or something of that nature.

I just checked this under admin features, and from what I could see & find there was nothing that allowed me to changed the actual date & time. All I could find was adjusting the time zone, which was still on CST. Brian might know how to do this, but otherwise there is no easy fix. If it persists, we may have to contact the ezboard people & have them change it.

It was in CST as it should have been, but apparently that wasn't good enough. I had to put at at +3 GMT (which is somewhere in Europe, but oh well....)

We should be 5 hours behind GMT during daylight time and 6 hours behind during standard time.

 

According to my clock, posts are being stamped about 23 hours and 54 minutes ahead.

I think the time is screwed up again... maybe they fixed it on their end, and you'll have to set it to CDT. No idea if that's right, just a guess.

I think the time problems today were caused when ezboard back to the times they should have been. So, since we were posting on GMT, times all of the sudden jumped back. The difference between GMT & CST is 14 hours, and I'm sure it's not coincidental that was the difference in posts (thanks to David for posting real time of posts).

 

So, I switched it back to CST, and we seem to be close. I noticed a few posts that still are a little messed up within threads, but I'm guessing those posts that aren't showing up as the most recent ones were posted some time between the ezboard switch.

 

Of course, who knows. We may be in a new time zone tomorrow, or an hour from now...

 

***We were still an hour behind, so I bumped us up to EST. The good folks at ezboard probably didn't factor in daylight savings time, quite similar to the pickle matrix.

 

And it's weird seeing this post show up before Brian's from this morning. Hopefully tomorrow all of the posts will be back to normal.

Things should be fixed now... even though i had to set us -20 hours behind GMT.
