Would like to start something with Mitchell involved, unfortunately every game he plays his value goes down! Hope I'm wrong about him like I was with Turang! At least with Mitchell we would be trading with a position that we have good depth!

Mitchell? The guy who has been injured more than he’s been healthy since being drafted? He could play like DiMaggio and still have limited value given that he simply cannot stay healthy.

Let’s be realistic, a trade for Bobby Miller likely includes players like Misiorowski, Cooper Pratt, and Tyler Black. Not bench players, middle relieves and mediocre former first round picks.

How about to placate the “buy high ish “ on Miller, we make our offer Pratt, Peguero, Monastario .  Traction possible?

Please stop.

Turner-ish. He gets on base, hit atop the order and can both play up the middle...

He probably won't hit 28 HRs or hit for that type of power. He'd have to sacrifice some contact in order to do so.

I thought you were asking me a question...

But I guess I'd say they pretty regularly put guys on the DL for short stints, particularly as their pitchers get up there in innings. Glasnow and Buehler both seem like they should be back shortly. They have 4 of their top prospects either in AAA or on their 40-man. Glasnow in particular. This feels like the obvious Dodgers move. He gets the ASB, they backdated it to July 6th, get him a break. Same may be the same for Buehler, I don't know, or Grove. Yamamoto is a bigger question, but he's working his way back.

They're stacked with young arms who are either already succeeding at the MLB level or at the AAA level(in a hitters league).

I also didn't suggest it, I just suggested what I thought would be a more realistic trade.

Yeah. He definitely doesn't have the body type, to be able to bulk up big-time, to develop consistent power.

Truth.  Sometimes when you are demoted from an organization like the dodgers, it’s hard to get back in.  Worth a shot to inquire for certain .

Sure. Definitely inquire about him, but they'll definitely want too.much in return.

After tonight I'd trade Peralta and Adames to the Dodgers for Bobby Miller and whatever prospects we can get and mix with some of ours to get experienced starting pitchers and hitters elsewhere. Criticize at will!!

I'm not agreeing that they should trade Peralta, but he's definitely very streaky, and it's frustrating.

Imo, right now, Pratt should be pretty much untouchable, unless it would be for an Ohtani type impact player. Or Cy Young caliber starter.

Can pretty much guarantee LA would have zero interest in Monasterio.

I have to ask. What's your fascination with Bobby Miller?

He's had injury issues, and just came back. He deserves an honest shot. Imo, the only OF prospect in the farm system with more potential than him, is Chourio.

This is a message board, and when you post stupid trade ideas, you are going to get people who disagree with you.  You need to be able to deal with that.

Not sure why you are thinking that just because some random stranger on the internet tells me to stop replying to his/her stupid trade suggestions, that I'll listen, in fact, now you have just challenged me.  lol

Why do most people nowadays, get so defensive when their opinions are challenged? Jeeesh. Whatever happened to listening and at least attempting to understand different points of view? In the days when that was the case, the world was a MUCH better place. Then they should start calling sites like these "opinion boards" instead of discussion boards.

I've tried adding different views to the conversation, but you won't respond to them. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I don't know if he's going to hit for more power as he ages or not, but it won't be because of size. He's pretty much the same size as Turner(he's definitely thicker this year).

He's been worth 4.2 WAR this year. That he may hit ~15 HRs and Turner is more ~25 in a full season seems...not that significant.

Sure, I'd give up Pratt for Miller.

Not many players I want to see Pratt traded for. He could end up being a star. Wouldn't shock me if he's better than Chourio(I'm not expecting it, but...wouldn't be surprised).

But Miller is an elite arm.

Yeah I think I would too.  Straight up .  Then hope for Bitoni to become Pratt.

Since he was sent back to AAA, his arm must not be that elite. At the MLB level at least.

Bitonti will almost certainly end up playing a position other than SS. He's 6'4"" and around 220lbs. My guess would be 3B or OF.

Imo, Pratt is way to good of a prospect to include in a Miller trade.

Both are 6’4, and at that a rarity for a mlb ss (see machado),  is Bobby Miller a top 25 in all of baseball prospect or isn’t he?  If not, where does he fit on the spectrum in relation to Pratt?

When they drafted Bitonti, it was mentioned that it was likely he would end up switching positions eventually. Yes, Miller was considered a top 25 prospect, but since he's been in the show, he was promptly sent back to AAA. There's only 1 way to say this. The Dodgers will definitely not just give him away. I highly doubt they'd even be willing to trade him in the first place.

Im starting to think the right move if available is Adames for Bobby Miller.  Feeling strong on that too.

Now THIS I would be ok with.
