That RHP Garrett Stallings 8th inning was the best inning of work I've seen from him since becoming a Brewers. Fantastic inning of work there!

RHP Aidan Maldonado gives up a deep fly to the wall in RF and Eduarqui gets there leaping into the wall but an awkward collision with a knee high stem wall out there has his glovehand smash into the wall and the ball pops out. He stays in the game but that certainly looked like it hurt and he spent some time on the turf getting looked at by the trainers. Man on third. One down. 1-1 game.

Boy this is one of those nights where the men are just sloppy in key spots. Luke Adams just short armed the third out in the 8th inning. Already saw a run cross via a shallow liner with the infield in into RF. A Bryant WP gets to the backstop on a high hop. The base runner at first rounds 2B way too far and heads to 3B. He's out by 6 feet. Adams short arms the catch for some inexplicable reason and the ball drops into 3B foul territory. Runner now suddenly at 3B with 2 down.

Bryant escapes. Two K. Works around that go-ahead single after Maldonado gave up that deep triple of Fernandez's glove into the wall.

Let's pray the Sounds can walk it off so we can avoid an 0-4 night. Mudcats lost 13-9. Shuckers lost 1-0 and couldn't complete their sixth consecutive come back 'W'. T-Rats trail 2-1 in the 9th. Sounds tied 3-3 into the bottom of the 9th. Rough night of tough luck results so far.

Hall goes down looking at a high 3-2 slider - borderline. Good enough to swing though. Lara broken bat ground out to 3B. Edquarqui K's looking.

Man, tough sledding tonight in the Brewersverse. T-Rats lose 2-1.

Two on nobody down. Bottom of ninth. Beautiful sac bunt by Roller who almost beats it out. He advances both runners with a masterful light bunt just in front of the plate 3B side. Not an easy thing to do. Table is set for Isaac Collins. They will intentionally walk him to face Capra. Force outs and DP opportunities at every base. Big moment.

Indians knock Manfred's Man across via an absolute duck fart into shallow LF. My goodness. Billy McKinney (yes, that McKinney) got a jam shot to fall. Sac Fly to shallow LF and the runner beat Cargo's throw - decent toss but slightly toward the mound and no chance. Another fly out to RF. Two down. He gets a long AB that Jake Lamb got the better of but his scorched line drive was low and right to RF Brewer Hicklen. Phew. 4-3 Sounds trail and they'll head to their half of the 10th.

Sheeeesh. Three consecutive ground outs to 3B. Black never even leaves the bag. A rare 0-4 night for the affiliates. Tough sledding. On to tomorrow. Let's just hope those Brewers can close it out in the 9th!

So I had to fly for a meeting, and with the delay just got down to read up on things about 10-15 minutes ago.  Man after that offensively charged 7-1 night last night, this seems like a let down. Muddies came out hitting and Bitonti wow that kid can hit for power.  Some good pitching - I’ll watch Miz and Wichrowski tomorrow morning. Some not great pitching. Not a lot of hits outside of the low A game. I guess I picked the right now to be glued to milb (last night) and the right night to have travel and travel delays 🙄

Anyway @Joseph Zarr - amazing effort in the play by play and thanks to @wiguy94 among others too.

When I can’t watch it’s great to “see” these games play out in this forum/thread. What a treat!

Really nice to see RHP Dikember Sanchez start to get some shine. He's been fantastic since his call-up. Extremely athletic young man - his ability to field and move off that mound into a defensive player has been extremely impressive beyond his raw pitching tools.

Perhaps it's the off-center camera, but what is he throwing? It looks like a nasty cutter and a changeup?
