Intentional Grounding!

I disagree... but at least it was another stop.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I've never heard grounding not called for that reason, ever. What? Like, usually grounding is literally caused by a defensive player impacting the QB in some way.

I’ve never heard it waived off for “impact of the defender” but ok, I guess that is logical. I would argue Hurts had no intention of completing that pass, idk, idk…

Isn't grounding normally caused by the "impact of a defender" causing a QB to just randomly chuck the ball?

I totally get the market reason that Love got the contract that he got.

With that said, between the big contract and the big INT in the playoffs, he's going to have fans pretty upset with him if he doesn't perform at a high level this year.

Have a good run on first down, then another penalty on 2nd and short to bring it back. Pick. Keep shooting themselves in the foot tonight.

While true, I'm putting zero emphasis on tonight's game (good or bad) on what this team and what Love will be at the end if the season.

September NFL regular season football is a horrible product with the changes to training camps and having 17 regular season games.  This is like what the NFL hall of fame preseason games used to be like 15 years ago...and it's being played thousands of miles away from either of these teams' home stadiums on a garbage field.
