It was 10-3 with no turnover on either side, the Packers had out gained them in yards and the difference was essentially one fourth down conversion.

If you don't think that's competitive, then "LOL that's on you."

LOL the difference was absolutely not one 4th down conversion.  This is was not, is not, and will not be a competitive game......and the reason why keeps on happening.

It literally was the difference in the game up to that point.  They were up by 7, and scored on that play.

If you want to ignore missed FGs, a mountain of penalties, dropped passes and any number of mistakes by this team, good for you.  This is a game of attrition and the Lions were clearly winning that battle.

You can't just gauge two teams by total yardage and turnovers and use that as a measuring stick. The undisciplined things that we've done today are part of our team identity. That's part of the equation. The horrible penalties, the flipping of field position, bad plays on 3rd and 4th down, the awful-timed mistakes. It's all part of our identity, and aside from Branch, the Lions have played disciplined, smart football.

It's what separates good teams from great teams. Just because the game score was 10-3 before halftime with similar yardage totals doesn't mean that there isn't a wide gap between the teams.

Can we keep them under 40?

Only if we can hang on to the ball. The Lions won’t let up. They’ll try and run us out of our own house, because that is what they do, but it’s cool. They can win November as far as I’m concerned. The game is played for January.

Walker is so bad.

Don't think that was on him.  McDuffie and X blitzed into the same gap.  X tried to slide over, but that gap was wide open.  Walker was lined up far to the left and not the middle.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Aside from robbing valuable game reps from a more deserving LB, is there anything that Quay Walker does well?

Get drafted high?

I mean, the fact that the Lions lost one of their best defenders for the game and then started absolutely smacking us in the mouth is pretty damning evidence of how much better they are than us. At least right now. I'm not happy about it. But it's clear that we have a long ways to go.

Is Quay Walker simply incapable of getting of a block?

someone needs to explain to me why he’s  starting and Cooper is not

...and the Lions had an idiotic penalty as well that extended a drive, and stalled in the 20 and kicked a FG, and took a sack on 3rd down and had to punt. It was competitive.

I know you guys are upset and this is now a blood bath, but it wasn't what you guys are pretending it was prior to Love throwing that pick.
