Nine games into the season and we've given up 10 runs or more in four of them.

It's amazing we're only going to be one game under .500

What is the home run differential?

Let's hit a dinger against Singer!
Let's hit another dinger against Singer!
Let's hit plenty a dinger against Singer!

E-Rod on the pitcher's mound will trod!
The skipper gave him the nod!
He will pitch like a baseball god!

Brew Crew win by Two plus Two plus Two!
The offense of Cincy will remain chintzy!

Mercy … I’m looking forward to a few pitchers getting healthy soon & removing Elvin Rodriguez & Conner Thomas from our big league & 40-man

I don't know if that happens. If you bring a rule 5 guy on board you would think they plan to keep him otherwise why bother? Makes no sense.

The brewers cannot afford to have a pitcher as bad as this Thomas guy.    We have to rely on the relievers to not blow up and if it does at minimal amounts.   We cannot have a reliever that gives up 5 runs every time he comes in

Well, they must have thought he was better than Shane Smith since they just gave him away for nothing.

That’s my point - it makes no sense to keep him because he’s not a big league pitcher so send him back to the Cardinals like we did Varland to the Dodgers (maybe) a few years ago.

Shane Smith > Conner Thomas.

Sometimes GMs miss on a Rule 5 guy.

I think you can kind of see what the Brewers like in Thomas but he's just not ready yet for MLB level. I'm not sure what the overall plan is but clearly they think he had an opportunity with the injuries but yeah, he's just not ready yet. Not unlike other Rule 5 guys who had a chance early in the year while other starters or regulars were still getting over injuries.

I don't know that his stuff will ever be mlb be ready.

I faced guys with better stuff than that when I was playing senior men's in the '90s

And Dunn was the topic of being cut on BF today. LOL.

Dunn looked like Brooks Robinson on that last play.
