Every game we play, I like Murphy a little less

Megill should have never had to warm up tonight

Murphy doesn’t deserve to be a manager in MLB

He can go to Chicago & be a bench coach for all I care

We need someone who make good “in game decisions” managing the Brewers

Megill hasn't been used that much this year.  A team should be fine using their closer in 4 out of 5 days.

Good win…..great to see Yellie with 2 homers…..especially that rocket to right center.

Also Chourio with that near homer to right……that is when he is at his best.

happy for Joey too……hardest hit ball of the season.

I’m sure Murphy will wax on & on about what a “great kid” Rodriguez is & how he had a gutsy performance

At least we won’t have to see his little kids at the postgame presser tonight

Ortiz is my breakout candidate for the middle 54 games of the season

That’s not exactly how the human body works…..4 out of 5 is really pushing it…no.matter how much you’ve worked . Happy it worked out.

I agree … but I remember when Mike Marshall pitched in over 100 games back in the 70’s for the Dodgers

The game has changed so drastically

Did Mike Marshall throw 100 mph?

Oh no … not anywhere near 100 MPH

Remember … I agree with you

Megill didn’t need to be used tonight & I don’t ever want to see him throwing in 4 of 5 games

He stepped up today when we really needed him to, but boy Rodriguez left a bad taste in a lot of mouths by walking a pair to start the 9th up five. If it's lesson learned, at least it's nice to learn it & still come out on top. Nice confidence in the changeup, and throws hard enough to make it work when locating well.

Obviously, great games from Yelich & Chourio. I'll be very interested in seeing what kind of ABs, whether resulting in hits or not, those two turn in vs Skenes tomorrow.

I mentioned once that I could see Durbin one day being one of those guys w/o a huge OPS, but a .260-.270 hitter with an OBP around 90-100 pts above that. You still have to squint to see him being more than a mediocre to adequate 3B, but he's settling in at the plate.

I thought Civale was very Civale-ish. Not surprised his feel & command were less than stellar after the layoff. If he can build on this, great.

In closing..........with Frelick on 3rd base & less than two out and Turang facing a LHP, I'm fine with him being given license to bunt. And maybe even w/two outs. That's a good bunt-read duo.

It's not going to work every time. Bart made a hell of a play.

I mean yes it absolutely is how the human body works.  If he was sitting at 25 ip so far and was often being used 4/5 days that would be much worse than the actual situation.

Pitchers have never been paid more, never pitched less, and never gotten hurt more often than in today's game.

If Rodriguez gets injured because he’s forced to pitch after a lengthy rain delay … 🤬

I was surprised when he went back out after the lengthy rain delay.  Kudos to him.

I was never a fan of this hire.  I was hoping last season  Arnold would look outside the organization for the new manager.  I thought a new perspective and approach was needed.  It looks like I might be right even tho I was pleasantly surprised with the team in 2024.

I fell asleep after the rain delay but was really surprised to see that CarRod went back out after a 2 hour delay. I get that we have a lot of over worked arms but a 2 hour rain delay seems a bit risky. I guess at least he had a ton of time to re-warm up.
