Today was Chourio’s 18th game batting leadoff with 12 of those games (including today) against a lefty SP.

Entering today Chourio had a 143 wRC+ in 66 PA vs LHP.

Who would you bat leadoff vs LHP?

Not Turang, Yelich, Frelick. All LH batters

Not Durbin, Collins or Ortiz.

I guess we could bat Contreras or Hoskins leadoff in the spirit of get your best hitters the most AB. Contreras batting second yesterday makes sense, if you aren’t going to give him any days off. 

Chourio as leadoff makes the most sense against LHP.

We can’t bat everyone eighth 🙂
