Maybe even more impressive than the offense scoring 13 runs through four innings…Dubanewicz with his second 4U3D inning (1 BB | 2 K).

A truly unique One Outcome hurler. Strange times we live in.

Each team scores two in the first and three in the second. Extrapolating out, this ACL game is going to head to extras 54-54.

You might be right on the Brewers side of that ledger. You just might be!

After taking a break in the fifth with no runs scored, Zona Crew might be up to something again here in the sixth.

Corobo walk and Paulino double (his 2nd of the game) to open the inning.

Ibarguen walks on a wild pitch to score Corobo, 14-5.

& a Holguin groundout scores Paulino, 15-5.

Is it me or do the ACL Brewers draw 10+walks like every night?

And their pitchers don’t give up too many walks usually.

It’s not just you, batters lead the ACL in walks and pitchers have the second lowest walk rate.

Ok. I thought I read that about the hitters recently. And BA had us as top of organizations in drawing walks on offense in all of the minors.. But the pitching doing such a good job at avoiding walks is really nice- that hasn’t always been the case.

Dubanewicz works around the lead off walk - with a fly out and double play. He’s gone 4 scoreless so far, 1 hit allowed, 2 walks and 4K. 60 pitches if that is accurate. Solid work for that young man.

And the offense is 15 for 30 with 11 walks, is that even possible for 7 innings - I mean that’s only 15 outs, and there is a sac fly and 3 GIDP, but that only accounts for 19 outs.

OK - found it - a line into DP (in addition to the GIDP), and an outfield assist at home and that gets us to 21 outs.  Boy they have had 26 players reach base in about 42 plate appearances.

Quero 4-5. 2B, HR and 2 singles. Just needs that triple for the cycle

Controversial Take:

Let's leave Quero in the ACL to 'grow up' with this stockpile of nukes we have in the 17-19 age group. Why bring him back to Nashville when we have Babe Kahle kissing greatness?!

Dubanewicz goes out for his 5th inning.  Gives up single, walk, then force out

And a single and 2 run error, and 3 runs are in. Still 16-8 lead.

Dubanewicz strikes out the next 2 guys!! Nice to finish strong. Must be out with 81 pitches.

What I can say is SS Jorge Quintana's family is looking at this Box Score tonight saying:

"Why is Ereu on the bench? Jorge needs some shine!"

A-Reds pitchers with 13 walks allowed, 6 wild pitches, a HBP, 1 pitch clock violation and a balk in 8minnijgs pitched so far  - That’s impressive

Lot of double plays, but that is bound to happen when most of the at bats start with a runner on first base.

Hey now. We have Quero highlights. How about tonight's dinger:

I probably would have left the clip at just the home run. The single and double definitely featured some On The Complex defense.

Either way, love to see Jeferson working his way back.

I thought the exact same. LOL. I was like "Did we really need those?!" 😂
