Didn’t result in any runs but Blake Perkins hit a 96 MPH single and Handelfry followed with his 10th double of the season at 113 MPH. guess he hit it too hard.

And it comes back to haunt them, as the AZ Reds go out - single -single with error - single- sac fly and it's 2-1 Reds now. Tobias hits a bit of a snag here in his 4th inning.

But escapes with a grounder. Nice job Griffin.

Boy Mitchell absolutely roped a ball to the LF wall that was somehow run down at the warning track for the final out of the 5th. That ball was hit well. Love to see it.

This is very very much a strike. BUT, Miller is either falling down or thinks the ball is traveling outside. He walked this batter. 2 on. Nobody out. As per usual, with this ump he failed to see it was a strike. Really poor homeplate work tonight on anything close.

I am not used to seeing that many green dots INSIDE the strike zone. I count about 5 missed calls the past few innings. And I mean MISSED.

And Middendorf gives up the hit and lead. Ugh. Crap. Shoot.

7-7, still no outs, and runner on 3rd base. Yikes. Middendorf removed, but a batter or two too late.

Zavi Warren has 3 free passes tonight. Man, he continues to have a fantastic season as a whole.

Five games away from THREE HUNDRED with the Shuckers.

& his 122 wRC+ (15th in the Southern League min. 150 PA) has been a nice step up from the 92 wRC+ he had posted with Biloxi from 2022-24 for sure.

Middendorf gives up a game-tying 2-rbi triple. And there is nobody out. His nightmare season continues. YES, he was squeezed. AND, YES he is having a horrendous season. It just is what it is at this point.

With the big club Brewers losing, and now the Shuckers at risk of giving up the lead the AA cubs, at least the Sounds beat the snot out of the AAA Cubs.  Dang it, was really really really hoping for a clean 3-0 cubbies sweep. Maybe not my night.

Wow. Adams can play third base alright, as he tracks down a foul to left and throws home and keep the runner there. One more out to keep this tied.

BUT, no a base hit and it's a 8-7 deficit.

Brewers lose to Cubs, and the Shucker give up the lead to the Smokies all about the same time.

Just crushing my night. OH well

I FEEL YOU my friend. The game is not over. The Brewers, on the other hand, 1-for-10 with RISP is juicy.

The intimidating figure of five foot ten, hundred sixty five pound First Baseman Kevin Ereu with eight singles and one home run in his first 100 PA worked his 19th walk of the year to open the Zona Crew seventh and scored on a Demetrio Nadal double to tie things up at two each in the desert.

Adams was just smoked by a 94 mph heater on his upper left arm. Whewwww. He was visitied. He is taking first. Whewwwww. Dodged a bullet. Men on 1B and 2B. Two HBP in the inning. Murray took one off his back. Ouch!!!

Good news - 2 runners on for BIloxi (both via HBP). Expected news  Adams has a HBP.

Bad news- he was hit hard up and inside part of his arm and he went down. Looks like he will stay in.

Need to take advantage of this pitcher please please.  I came back because @Joseph Zarr talked me off the ledge. Let's reward my faith in you Shuckers!

And maybe Yerlin is pitching for Knoxville with 2 HBP and a WP 😳

His white moustachioed cousins. Brothers from a different mother kind of thang.

Kind of odd to see Handelfry pinch hit for in the top of the 7th inning. Hope he’s okay.

The plan was 7 innings for Garrett Mitchell after being transferred to Nashville. I'm personally going to go with: (and I am saying this in my head) "The plan is to give Handelfry seven innings tonight to balance this out given he is just returning and we sent Garrett to Nasvhille."

Tie game! Boeve smacks a single into RF with the infield in. He didn't hit that hard it just rolled over and found the hole. Runners on the corner. One down. Pratt to the dish.

And Brock Wilken - career high in HRs - and still half a season to go. Alright young man.

Second in all of the minor leagues in HRs, and the guy who is one ahead of him and the guy who is tied with him are both in the PCL.

Sad that we made Griffin Tobias repeat his June 10th experience, once again pushing into a 6th inning of relief and once again wearing the loss in a 3-2 finish.
