I think this would make a lot of sense for everyone involved. Brewers probably throw in a lotto ticket or something else too but given the Brewers pitching depth/wizardry and Arizona getting cheap, controllable starting pitching for a rental bat I think it's realistic.

Both teams say no.  Brewers perspective they are giving up too much control for an about a half year rental.  For the Dbacks side Myers has looked blah in the majors.  I think they would prefer someone else over Myers.  Probably someone with less than a year in the majors already.  Patrick probably makes more sense for them than Myers.

There are like 10 teams interested in Geno and a team with loaded minor leagues like the Mariners is going to offer a buffet option of top prospects.

If there's been 0 talk about the Brewers having an interest in Suarez, I'd expect there's nothing there.  Durbin has raised his OPS from 501 to 711 since May 20th.   I don't think Suarez fits the team with Durbin's growth and the cost to acquire.  The weakness is SS.

I brought this up a few weeks ago.   Chastised by Big Red as a laughable offer.   It appears many in Milwaukee wouldn’t do it either.   Hmmmm…

All that said, I’d like to try and do an offer of CRod, Boeve, Lara for Suarez and let someone else beat that offer.   Keep Myers and Patrick but be open to dealing CRod who I have below the aforementioned two players, and give them a couple of pretty good positional prospects with CRod.

Suarez is a rental .   If McMahon goes to NYY for example, we might have the best package with my offer above .
