I just saw my credit card was charged for next years renewal.  I had just checked the renewal last week and read that it would renew at the start of the next spring season.  I fully planned on renewing next year, but getting charged for next year before this year is even over seems pretty shady.

I just saw this show up as well right away. I thought it was for this past season to be honest. Maybe they charge you after the season ends. Nope right away again dang. I mean I'll probably do it but still.

Same. However, on the heels of that, I got a reversal of the same charge on my card. Looks like they made an error that they fixed without me having to call and yell at them.

Yea, I had a reversal of the charge this morning now too.  Glad it was only an error if that is what it was.  Charging for next summer's package 6 months in advance seemed sketchy at best.

Got a refund this morning, didn't call or anything. Guessing it was an error on their part.

They just emailed that it was an error. I had already "canceled" the subscription and was about to raise hell.

So I got an email the other day saying it was a mistake. But just now I got another email basically saying the same thing I am auto renewed for next year?

When I got charged the first time I cancelled my subscription.  Just felt it was safer that way, I can always renew the day of the opener if I choose to.
