Ashby's been scuffling by his standards lately, possibly a sign of fatigue due to his heavy workload. I wouldn't feel great about throwing him out there again tonight for the third time in four days.

Megill is just recently coming back from an arm injury and this would also be his third time in four days.

Uribe with the high stress two innings against the Cubs the other night, and struggles last night. Wouldn't feel great about him tonight for the third time in four days.

My gut tells me Uribe won't pitch tonite. I think that's the only definite 'no' among the BP guys.

Sit Ortiz, start Monasterio

I know everyone rips on Ortiz's offense, but I'm not so sure Monasterio has the arm to get that force out at home or turn the DP on Betts. His defense may have saved 2 runs alone last night.

Gotta have tonight’s game.   Not impossible but highly unlikely they come back down 0-2.   But they win tonight then the series is ON.  Get both Bauers and Vaughn in the lineup.  Move Turang down.  Let’s go!

REALLY have to win tonight.

The way they lost that game yesterday... go down 2-0 and heading to LA... with Glasnow and...Ohtani...

Just... trying to move past how is little temporary "Rawlings" tattoo on the back of Turang's leg would have tied last night up, but... it's all good!

I don't think there's anyone sitting.

The 6 out save was a lot, but... it's the playoffs. You go into the 9th with a 1 run lead and lets say you've used up Koenig, Megill, Ashby... who else are you going with?

I'd rather Patrick be down for tonight. But... we'll see.

My guess is Megill would be held back until later in all likelihood. Like you said, we'll see.

I DID wonder about Patrick, just due to his having been a starter & not sure about the bounce back-ability over a # of days.

Yup... I'm not arguing with your logic, I see it... it's just this is kinda it.

I hope if we see Myers(and I think we'll see Myers) that he's sharp.

Don't want to go back and belabor this, but I REALLY wish you'd have gone with Hall, Henderson and Hoskins on this roster. Not entirely sure who they'd have been over. I guess Gasser, Lockridge.

But, these are the horses we've got. I don't think any of this matters unless Turang and Yelich can put together some good at bats.

Somewhere, Adam Lind is saying, "You're Welcome, Milwaukee!"

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

He looked locked in.  Had very competitive pitches on the walk.  Was just a good AB.   Pitched backwards.   Went off speed a lot more than the dodgers thought
