Is the Brewer clubhouse really going to have its morale shaken if Yelich sits the next time he faces Snell? The way he is hitting the ball?

I believe Snell is scheduled to pitch game 5.  At this rate, we might not have to worry about that.

Soooo, we're gonna need to keep them at two runs, it appears.

Problem is I don’t know if we can get to 3 runs and Yamamoto’s pitch count is in even better shape than Snell’s was at this point.

I’m glad we’ve had Frelick on twice and Turang once without attempting to steal a base.  So swing for the fences every pitch without applying pressure once we actually get on base.

This is what happens when you have a 800M payroll

You’re not wrong. Maybe this will be a turning point of some changes to competitive balance rules in MLB.

Putting pressure on defenses works when you're playing crappy teams with crappy pitching and crappy defenses.  Doesn't work as well when you're facing good teams.

It works when you put pressure. They've not done that thus far

I love Woody, but his inability to to stay healthy for the post season hurts as much or more than Yeli's poor performance

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

This team has forgotten its identity as a small ball outfit that works counts, steals bases. All that team speed is being wasted.

Since you are suspected to be a Cubs fan, the penalty should be 15 years for you 😉

That's excessive. (I have never even seen a bag of dicks).

I would rather just focus on this game. There is no reason we can't beat their a$$es tonight.

We are at HOME, we didn't just "slip" into the playoffs.

(Freddy just struck out Ohtani again).

So other than the fact that Frelick and Turang are our best base stealers, Yamamoto has a slow delivery to the plate, and the Brewers haven’t scored more than three runs in a game in five straight games, you make a really good point.

I have bad feelings about this half inning...prove my gut wrong, please

Something big needs to happen to help us remember that we can beat these guys and how we did it 8 times in a row. Right now I think we feel like the Davids to their Goliaths and it’s in our head. They say all the right things, but I don’t know if we believe that we can win.

The Dodgers lineup is loaded from top to bottom.

We have Caleb Durbin, Joey Ortiz and Playoff Yeli.

Dodgers #9 hitter - 27 home runs in the regular season

Brewers 5-9 hitters - 37 home runs in the regular season

Ashby's warming up. That dude's not going to have an arm to throw with.

Can we please leave Ashby and his goggles on the bench for just 1 night.

I rather see Miz. He will throw off the Dodger's timing.

When the payroll is almost 3x that of the Brewers, it makes it hard to feel like you can compete. I mean, their first three batters are former league MVPs. There is no such thing as a level playing field in the MLB.

Dodgers were 22-5 the last 27 games of the year and crushed the Phillies

They are a completely different team now than in July
