No, he should get some therapy. I don't think the risk/reward calculation favors him playing.

They can do wonders with therapy overnight.

He has to play, (could be the last game of the season).

Hopefully Frelick get's a haircut tonight and we are ready to rock tomorrow !!

Can somebody get this guy some "smelling salts?"

Or whatever treats the quivering lip that results from seeing the Cubs’ ripped on.

I keep thinking his hammy is fatigued and weakened from the strain earlier this summer, and Chourio is just spent.  When he has these flareups it seems like its cramping mlre than anything.  Dude was trying to stretch it out after the swing today - you dont do that if it's on the verge of tearing.  Didn't have enough time to fully recover and strengthen it, and as a 21 yr old that makes alot of sense.

I dont see how he plays tomorrow, but then again he didnt miss a game innthe Cub series (albeit with an offday in between)

The 21 year old hitter and 23 year old pitcher were the best players on our team in October.

Experience isn’t everything.

I’m disappointed that it hasn’t been a competitive series. I didn’t think the odds of winning were great, but I thought we could maybe push it to 6.

Still could, but it looks like a sweep or gentleman’s sweep incoming. I really am disappointed that the “Brewers will get swept” narrative looks like to be coming to fruition.

Hard to say. I didn’t honestly think after Game 1 of the NLDS that we’d see him again til 2026.

I could see it because we realistically had a chance to win that series at the time.

Yeah I mean, I guess it depends on the long-term risks. He’s got 6 months to recover soon, regardless .

There are different grades of hamstring injuries. The risk is injuring it even more.

As it turns out we have the worst offense in the playoffs probably.

Certainly the worst one of the last four teams play.

As it turns out the MLB ranking of us at #4 of the final 4 teams was more just an accurate ranking of the final 4 teams rather than a disrespectful slight.

On the disappoinment side of things, I think the worst part of this is that if you told me we'd surrender 2, 5 and 3 runs respectively, I'd probably guess we were ahead 2-1.

I knew their pitching was good. It was their lineup that I thought would overwhelm us. It didn't and we never really competed in these games.

Can’t believe how much this series swung when Brice got out of the way. It’d likely be 2-1 even with everything gone wrong with a chance to even it up tomorrow and guarantee Game 6.

In hindsight, that might be the Turang point of the playoffs for us.

No matter what happens tomorrow, this years playoff was better than hearing a heartbroken Uek call the 9th inning of Game 3 of last years’ Wild Card.

As a matter of personal pride, I hope we can at least win a game tomorrow and not get swept.

It was a great year, really. I think in one of those prospectus things I read in March we were something like 80-82. Even the consensus here in late April was "rebuilding year." I said it at some point.  We looked really bad.

We got the Webbs streak. We won the division. Turang, Frelick, Chourio were all improved. Miz was a lot of fun. Woodruff was throwing well. Won the division. Eliminated the Cubs. The end is never fun, but it was a great year.

We need a shortstop, I really do believe that. Ortiz just isn’t it and Made just is too far away. We need like a 2 year stopgap.

The needs aren’t much besides that, depending on what happens with Peralta and maybe Woodruff. I’m excited to see if Quero makes the big league roster next year.

Sometimes it takes professional sports teams two or three visits to the playoffs before they figure it out. Happens all the time. Next year will be our third time with a lot of this current group. Maybe we'll do something magical.

I agree. Of course it's disappointing that we won't see (well, it's highly unlikely) a WS appearance/victory this year, but I really didn't expect it, We had a chance. FWIW, I think it'll happen at some point in the future.

Yeah, I love Ortiz's glove but like someone who responded to me earlier said, we really can't afford his lack of offense in this lineup. He'd make a great backup infielder at least

Obviously this is better. But they have been incredibly successful for the last 10 years. People naturally start to yearn for more. People want to see their team win one. Can't fault them for that.

I don’t disagree one bit. I live in Houston and fans here have been spoiled by the Astros’ success.  So much so, that this year, there’s so much talk and questions on what to do. Most teams don’t have a consistent string of success for many years. So it’s enjoy the good while you’ve got it. There are plenty of other teams and fanbases sitting at home with nothing to cheer for. There is only one team at the end of the year who has won it all. In the meantime, it’s about enjoying the ride, good, bad or otherwise. I was 5 in ‘’82, so I don’t remember much of it. I grew up going to games and following the Brewers in the mid 80’s. Then the 90’s. The really not great years. And I still rooted for them and was optimistic, because that’s what fans do. The past few years of success is the reward.

By being the BEST team in the league, and barely squeaking by a wild card team.

Yeah, they were humiliated. 😘

Don't jinx us, but being the BEST team in baseball, then getting SWEPT?

Now that would be humiliating - (index finger tapping nose).

Can we stop crying, and get pumped up for Gm 4 please, (it's not over yet).

Dodgers top 3 starters in the post season have logged 127 innings between Snell, Glassnow and Roki Sasaki.  Brewers top 3 have Peralta, Misiorowski and Priester and they have pitched only 31 logged innings. Talk about a lopsided stat besides not scoring more then 1 run/game vs Dodgers.
