The High-A Timber Rattlers aim for a 3rd consecutive home win over Quad Cities to even their series 3-3. RHP Ethan Dorchies is making his second start of the week (3.1 IP, 4 R, 3 Ks on Tuesday). RF Josiah Ragsdale is 15-for-43 (.349 AVG) over his last 13 games.

Low-A Wilson can clinch a home series win over Salem behind 19-year old RHP Miqueas Mercedes, who’s making his 2nd start of the week (5 IP, 1 R, 4 Ks on Tuesday). RF Handelfry Encarnacion has 2 homers and 8 RBIs over the past 2 games.

Looks like Cooper Pratt was a late scratch from the Sounds game today as they go up 1-0 bottom three via a Leonard single, Matos walk, Lara HBP, Wilken ground out sequence, and Jett walks to load the bases for Quero who walks home the second run of the inning.

Handelfry double (& walk), Luis Lameda two RBI single (& walk), Juan Ortuno single (& walk), and Pedro Ibarguen (two singles) have accounted for most of the offense.

AA Biloxi have dropped 4 straight at Pensacola and turn to 21-year old RHP Bishop Letson (5 IP, 1 R, 6 Ks on Tuesday) to stem the tide. RF Damon Keith’s hitting streak has reached 10 games after a 4-for-6 (HR, double) effort yesterday.

Holub surrenders a solo shot but strikes out 4 in his 2.0 IP and I love to see the zero in the BB column. He's had his standard cruddy BABIP but it seems like he is suffering from an outlier years so far in terms of BAA. How has he looked overall? Has anyone had eyes on him?

Haven't watched but seems like Letson's command issues have continued into today. 3 BB and 2 HBP through 4 innings.
