Because you shouldn’t be using your 4th best reliever and best long arm up 7 runs. Especially taking into consideration the Brewers have Woodruff making his first start off a long IL stint and Sproat pitching the next two days where you very well could need a long arm.

Chad is going at most 2 innings. He'll be fine.

What pitcher goes down to make room for Woodruff tomorrow?

Probably Gasser.

Nice reward.

If you're up by 6 and you get an extra run is that a Disaster Insurance run?

That run sponsored by Chafin Basement-Proofing Systems.  You're not out of the water unless you're-Chafin Proof!

I surely hope not

It would only be till Woody is injured again. Might as well just stay with the team.

And when he throws all 3 innings to finish the game then what?

I don’t think it will be Gasser sent down. Brewers start an 18 in 17 stretch on Friday. Don’t think the Brewers are in a spot to option an arm that can give them length

I agree. I’m predicting it’s either Rom or Yoho. Whoever pitches the 9th inning might give us a clue.

im also not totally sure they wouldn’t stick with a 6 man rotation till the all star break (assuming health). Give Woody the extra rest plus everyone else in our rotation needs their innings managed to an extent.

Luke Adams with two homers (Nashville's only two hits).   Starting to look intriguing.  But not sure they trust him enough at third to make the bat worthwhile, and we already have a solid RH 1st baseman who many believe isn't getting enough ABs.  Maybe for the September roster spot.
