Like last weekend they’re talking about how this series has a playoff vibe.

Maybe that’s why the Brewers hitters are choking so badly.

This reminds me of last year when we were seeing this kind of offense all September and some said that it meant nothing going into October.

Our offense is … awful, unbearable to watch … disappointing when you consider the opponent & their depleted pitching staff.

I love Brewers baseball. I hate wasting three hours of my day watching them scuffle against an inferior pitching staff.

I want to win today. I expect to lose. Too many missed opportunities early. Hard to overcome against a quality opponent.

I expect Cubs fans are saying pretty much the same.

Earn your pay, Yeli

Can’t remember where I saw it, but someone posted his numbers against sliders/sweepers this year and it’s downright horrific.

I think he’s pretty well cooked. I don’t know if he has enough left to justify him being in the regular starting lineup by next season,

Yelich leading off just because he’s a vet & makes $ is awful

He should be a bench bat for a few days

That was the most predictable outcome

Right now we have 3 starters that need bench time.

Thales stats have to be accessible to Brewers decision makers

Why is he in the lineup every day & batting in the top three?

Thing is he’s pretty useless on the bench, too. Can’t even play a position so it’s not like you can plug him in for defense. All you can do is bring him in late against a righty or PR him in the last inning or two for Vaughn or Sanchez.

Yep. He's always had a tough time against sliders, both in and away. But this year it feels like it's an easy K when they start him with high cheese and then give him a heavy dose of spinners

Yelich xBA .224, xSLG .370, xwOBA .296.  The only things he's above average at this year is bat speed, chase percentage and BB% (barely).
