Blue Angels Flyover made beachgoers day

When I lived in Chicago the air show was always the weekend of my birthday.  They did practice runs on Thursday and Friday before the actual show on Saturday, and would always buzz my rooftop all afternoon.

I'm on the short list of people who can say they got a Blue Angels flyover at their house for their birthday.

(You know how pictures make things appear further away than they are...)

I used to have a house that was on a military flightpath. I've yet to meet the man who doesn't always look up in the sky to see them because it's so awesome.

I see F35 and F16 daily.  Sometimes other planes from the private Air Force that helps train pilots here in combat tactics.

My last year in Hawaii we lived along the landing path to Hickman and HNL.  You're right, you always look up.  Added bonus is that we also lived right near the entrance to Pearl Harbor, always had to stop and watch the submarines coming and going either.
