RHP Carlos Carra gets another home start (6 IP, 2 R, 4 Ks on Tuesday), as Low-A Wilson look to finish off a 5-1 series win over Columbia. Is this SS Brady Ebel’s (.836 OPS in 488 PAs with 38 SBs) last game at this level before promotion?

The High-A Timber Rattlers can claim a 3-3 series draw at Cedar Rapids with a win behind RHP Jayden Dubanewicz (3 IP, 5 R, 2 Ks on Tuesday) this afternoon. After 2 blasts yesterday, 1B Eric Bitonti needs one more homer to join the 20 HR, 20 SB club.

I always assumed Ebel was in Wilson to stay for '26. Are you just speculating? If he's promoted, Pena has been almost exclusively a SS this season. Do you think he'd slide somewhere else or just get a heavier dose of DH?

Brady deserves a call up to Appleton. The tRats are the team to go watch. I was up there in June and everyone I talked to was saying that they want BE asap

Pure speculation. We promoted Adamczewski to Wisconsin at this time in 2025 and Hedbert Perez in 2024.

And Brady Ebel was assigned to Low-A on August 19 last year, so I thought maybe his brother Trey will be assigned there this Tuesday.

It was Luke Roupe with the start for Wilson, and as you can see in the Carsten Sabathia highlights above, he was roughed up and gave up 4 R in 1.2 IP.  But once down 6-2, Wilson has tied it 6-6 with Kyle JOnes first professional HR, and then an Ebel double and scores on a sac fly. 6-6 bottom of 8.

Kyle Jones now adds the exclamation point - 2 run single for Kyle Jones.  It is now 9-6 bottom of 8.

Dubanewicz with a solid 5 IP start, no ER, no BB and 3 K.

Not sounding any alarm bells but Luis Pens last 3 games is 1-13, with 7 K.  For a guy who is high contact and low K rate, that is a mini slump right there. IN fact 9 K and no XBH since he returned back on Aug 9th. So maybe some minor injury stuff still with him.

Jones caught stealing. Ebel draws a walk and Antunez HBP, and Ortuno grounds out. On to the top of 9 in Wilson.

Meanwhile in Cedar Rapids it is Yerlin time.  Haven't watched but gets a K, then a walk and HBP. That is the trifecta for Yerlin right there.
