We had some nice result with Chourio, Bauers, and Vaughn hitting 3-4-5 so of course that means we have to change.

If Yelich is at the plate with two outs, you take your chances & send the runner no matter what. Unfortunately, our highest paid player is completely washed. I can’t bear two more years of his poor at bats.

Someone needs to show Murphy the movie “Old Yeller.”

Pretty good at bats tonight for the Brewers so far … with the one exception of Yelich

Someone explain to me what has happened with Joey Ortiz.

Is it at all possible that with Pratt right behind him for the last 2 seasons he was constantly pressing and the minute that Pratt got called up and they basically told him it’s Pratt’s job now, he loosened up and relaxed and stopped worrying about it?

Why isn't Ortiz hitting 5th?

Because that’s where star player Designated Hitter Christian Yelich hits.

PCA ended last nights’ game with a HR and started today’s with one.

I hate him but he is ridiculously good.

Some players start out hot and go cold. Some players start out cold and get hot

Look at Caleb Durbin this year

Ortiz was not good at all for an entire season and a half, though.

Unfortunately, PCA is playing near 2018 / 2019 Yelich level but with far superior defense. It’s hard to watch because he’s a Cubs player. Impressive otherwise.

Guess we can thank the New York Mets for that one, which is surprising because normally they’re such a well run organization.

Harrison isn't throwing hard. The speculation will continue on his health.

He’s hitting 94-95

when trwi brought up the velocity, I started paying attention to it.. I did see a 95 in there last inning.

Nice outing for Harrison so far but the velocity would make it really hard to trust him with big stakes right now.

Doesn’t he touch 98-99 at his best?

The hardest four-seam fastball Kyle Harrison has thrown this season topped out at 97.9 mph, according to Statcast tracking data on Baseball Savant. [1]
Fastball Velocity Breakdown
  • Maximum Speed: 97.9 mph
