This offense is just not built to have success in this type of environment. Wind blowing out and the Cubs have 11 batted balls over 20 LA while the Brewers have 0. The 25-35 LA range is the sweet spot on a night like tonight. Cubs have 6 batted balls in that range for a single and 5 HR. The Brewers have zero.

Can position players really only pitch one inning? That seems dumb.

7th on when trailing. 8th on when winning.

I don't really understand artificially limiting how many innings they can go, but that's slightly better, I guess. If a team wants to punt in the 4th inning, I think you should let them.

If Turang doesn’t find his way toward some level of offensive competence by October we are not going anywhere.

Turang has had an horrible September. .174 BA and OPS with 32 Ks.... They say he keeps losing weight which effects his play. Time for Pancake to bench him for a while (probably never going to happen) or at least move him way down in the order.

I know, I know, but it's the little things, man. Ortiz hitting for Hamilton is an easy move here vs. the lefty.

If you hit Ortiz for Hamilton then Yelich needs to play in the field when you use a position player to pitch next inning which will never happen

I guess it's just a matter of semantics then. I wouldn't consider someone who only made it to A ball in the Brewers org as a former Brewer/Brewers castoff.

If you remembered that we drafted him, I'd hope you could've made the connection... 🙄

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."
