Led to not extending several OL, Wahle, Rivera, they were very bad that season, but quickly got things going again a couple years later. I don't see any of that happening without a new HC, the same thing they did back then.

The biggest key to that turnaround was getting Sherman out of the GM chair as well. Much like then....we need a new GM but that's going to be much tougher to do now.

This must be pretty bad for reed.  I'm not even sure what contact caused the injury, it did seem like he stiffened up before he was down, but the enegbare contact was around his neck, though it didn't look too egregious.
