Not sure if this is the right venue for this question, but I figured I'd give it a try. I've gone to a lot of Brewers games over my life and used to bring my young kids with me all the time. My season seats were in section 220 which gets riddled with foul balls from left handed batters. One game right after my son and I sat down earlyish (first three innings or so), a foul ball flies up into the section while I'm feeding my kid a hot dog (he was probably 3-5 at the time). While I'm still feeding my kid, I reached across him and caught the foul ball on a fly. A guy comes back from concessions and says that Bob Uecker and the other announcer at the time (Grindle or Levering) were joking about me going to catch the ball and they were kind of making fun of me for going for the ball for 45 seconds or so on the broadcast. After the game I went on the MLB At Bat app and clip the section and saved it. Over the years, it seems it got lost or deleted or something, and now I can't find it despite going through a lot of my old computers.

So....I'm hoping someone here could point me in the right direction on where I might be able to find old audio clips and filter through them. Below are some things that might help narrow it down:

Would have most likely been in 2017 - 2018 seasons POSSIBLY 2016 or 2019

It very likely occurred prior to the top of the 4th inning

It was 100 percent a left handed batter

I'm 90 percent sure it was the Pirates

Trying to hunt down what games it might have been with the guy who used to have my season seats. Any direction someone could point me to listen to audio archives would be appreciated!

That's a tough one, but I wish you luck in trying to locate it.

If you don't mind indulging me, it reminds me of a clip during a Tonite Show monologue from decades ago. There was a woman in the audience that had a very distinctive cackle, and at one point Johnny Carson looked out in the crowd & proclaimed "Lady, I love your laugh!!!!" Well, it was my wife's grandmother, and she's tried to narrow it down to find the clip, but not remembering the exact year has had little success, nor have I.

Hope you have better luck, and welcome to Brewerfanatic.

Yes - it was an opposing batter that hit it foul. Definitely a left handed hitter. I've been looking back at old games, and thought the name would jump out at me because I had looked it up previously, but nothing did.

Got a suggestion from another thread where someone said to go back to my ballpark app and see what tickets I had games to. That actually did help, but only goes back to 2018 and only covers tickets I had digitally - not the ones I would get from the scalpers that used to hang outside!

I found some old hard drives from my old computer - I'm going to take a deeper look into those tonight. Hopefully they still work!

Thanks Frisbee Slider - I've sifted through a number of the games I think it could be - just don't know where to find the audio archives to listen to them.

Do you have an MLB.com or MLB Gameday app audio subscription? That is the only thing I can think of. Not sure how many seasons they archive.

The app won’t work.  To access the archive you have to use a browser.  I think it only goes back to 2024.

Sounds right. The only other things I can think of is writing a customer service letter to MLB.com customer support or maybe even 620 WTMJ radio to ask what options there are.

I think they will need to be more specific on which game it was.  The time of day morning or an evening game would help eliminate games.
