The cynical side of me can't help but think that if it was Derek Jeter instead of Pratt, there would've been a forensic examination & the base would've been sent to the lab to try to detect cleat residue.

But you can easily see why it was overturned. The check swing call---THAT is what really could've/should've had folks up in arms.

Easily see? If bag is disrupted, what else could it be? I’d argue for ruling confirmed by video evidence.

Cleat clipped bag…. So many focusing on the shoe. Focus on the right upper corner bag. Foot was on, then off, then clipped corner of bag.

I believe you. I'm just not surprised that it wasn't scrutinized that deeply. But if the cleat clearly clipped the bag then yeah, it should've been.

The 'easily see' refers to the foot initially lifting off as Pratt makes the catch. Apparently the replay gurus stopped the analysis there, but shouldn't have.

The check swing call was a more obvious miss IMO, in real time at least.
